Dr. Richard Epstein
Export & Trade
Richard Epstein is specialized in trade issues (wholesale, retail, import, export, procurement), state export promotion, trade facilitation, international marketing, international management, business growth strategies, market entry strategies, business finance. His doctoral thesis focused on risk management in exporting of SMEs. He has held management positions in ThyssenKrupp and in KarstadtQuelle group before changing into independent entrepreneurship and consulting. Today, he works for GIZ, managing projects in Greece, Croatia and Jordan on export, trade and related economic topics. Besides further entrepreneurship at import/export and trading companies, he is associate Professor at Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg, Germany for Business Administration and Trade.

Prof. Dr. J. Rod Franklin

Rod Franklin is full Professor of Logistics and Academic Director of Executive Education at Kühne Logistics University. He received his Doctorate in Management from the Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Professor Franklin has held management positions at Kühne + Nagel, USCO Logistics, ENTEX Information Services, Digital Equipment Corporation, and Cameron Iron Works. In addition, he has been consultant for different companies like e.g. Booz-Allen & Hamilton. His research focuses on the application of modern management techniques to the efficient and effective operation of supply chains, sustainable business models, green logistics, corporate social responsibility and cloud based supply chain management.

Nelly Tzakou-Lampropoulou has more than 30 years of experience in the Banking Sector, having served in 2 of the leading Greek Banks as General Manager of Retail Banking, Global Transaction Banking, Trade Finance, Factoring and Operations. Nelly has run several programs fostering innovative and export-oriented entrepreneurship in Greece and also set-up a fintech impact accelerator.
