The Position

Join SmartLoC, an innovative and rapidly expanding startup revolutionizing the world of international trade. Our mission is to empower Importers and Exporters by eliminating the complexities and high costs associated with traditional bank-based Letter of Credit financing. We offer comprehensive Supply-Chain Visibility solutions and utilize IoT technology to ensure secure and reliable transaction payments, minimizing the risk of incomplete or damaged shipments.

Tasks

  • Develop, update and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base within the framework of the company’s objectives.
  • Create and communicate sales goals and ensure C-level executives are informed on the progress of those goals.
  • Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
  • Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes.
  • Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals to potential customers.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of marketing techniques and best practices.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
  • Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Experience with export/ import processes, Incoterms and/or trade finance and/or Cargo insurance management.
  • HubSpot. CRM In-depth knowledge.
  • LinkedIn campaigns.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Languages:

  • English: very good knowledge.
  • German: good knowledge.

About Us

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Assist in daily administrative tasks for the CEO, C-level and SmartLoC Team.
    • Prepare and manage expense claims.
    • Book travel arrangements for the entire team.
    • Review email correspondence for the CEO and draft initial responses.
    • Keep minutes of meetings and manage telephone calls.
    • Respond and keep track of info and sales email
  • Documentation and Content Management:
    • Set up and maintain a Wiki base for marketing materials and social media posts.
    • Manage and update website content.
  • Reporting and CRM:
    • Support monthly reporting to investors and customers.
    • Assist the sales team with CRM administrative tasks.
  • Onboarding and Customer Support:
    • Support the onboarding process for new customers and team members

Desired Skills and Expertise

  • Language Proficiency: Excellent knowledge of both German and English.
  • Marketing and Design Skills: Experience in marketing and design to enhance our marketing materials is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with content management systems and CRM software is beneficial.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset with a proactive attitude.
